HOW TO ORDER
If you see an item you like, all you need to do is tell us! Due to the unique nature of this type of merchandise, we generally do not have more than one item in stock. The most efficient way to purchase goods is to call us! We are open by appointment only.
TELEPHONE ORDERING: Call (252)636-3039 and any of our staff will gladly assist you. If you are unable to call during those times, you may leave the information on our 24-hour answering service and we will call you back, confirming your order. Be sure to give the item number, a brief description of the item, your name and your telephone number!

SHIPPING: We normally ship by UPS, so we need a street address. US Postal Service, Federal Express and bonded courier services are available. Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance costs (no packing charges). Charges are quoted at the time of order placement for your convenience.
PAYMENT: We accept personal or cashier checks and money orders sent by mail to Battleground Antiques, 3910 US Hwy 70 East, New Bern, NC 28560.
GUARANTEE: All items sold are 100% guaranteed to be original and as described. A certified appraisal is available at no additional charge on any item above $1,000.00
RETURNED MERCHANDISE: Upon occasion returns are made, either because an item is not as described or because the collector simply no longer wants it. We offer the industry standard 3-day inspection period on all items sold (three days in the hands of the collector) and allow for the necessary transfer time for an item to be returned. Items MUST be returned in the exact same condition as sent and in the manner in which the items were shipped originally. The sender is responsible for any damages that occur in shipment, so proper insurance is recommended. Upon receipt, the item will be reviewed. If an error in description was made, we will reimburse the full purchase amount (less shipping costs). If no error was made, the buyer will be charged a 25% restocking fee. If the item is returned altered or damaged in any manner, adjustments will have to be made prior to a refund being granted.
TRADE IN POLICY: We allow full purchase price on any trade-in against any HIGHER priced item. Multiple trades must receive prior approval. All items traded back MUST BE IN THE SAME CONDITION AS WHEN SOLD!
WARRANTY: Antique firearms are not guaranteed to be safe to fire. Consult with a gunsmith prior to attempting to fire them. All items sold as collector’s items only!
